BELIZE

For many years Belize was a British colony. In 1981, Belize achieved its independence, although remaining a member of the Commonwealth.

With just 23,000 km2, plus dozens of small islets in the Caribbean, Belize is the smallest country in Central America. The mountainous terrain of Belize was almost completely flat, except for some small rises in the south that do not exceed the 1,000 m. altitude.

Belmopan is the capital of Belize, a small town that until recently had no more than 6,000 inhabitants. During the colony, Belize's economy depended almost entirely on the exploitation of gum.

When that market shrank the people of Belize was able to diversify its economy and today is exported with success: cocoa, fruit, seafood and snuff, but sport fishing and diving tourism is the their main source of income. The official language in Belize is English speaking but also "Creole". Voltage 110 V.

Belize is a place that was stopped for a moment in time, with people very warm and tropical climate, Belize has a very beautiful landscape and beaches, is the perfect place for vacationing, trip and travel. Be sure to visit Belize.
