DESCRIPTION:


Travelers will be able to visit all points of attraction in the Mayan World in two weeks. Ancient archaeological centers, different ecological systems, live indigenous cultures, exquisite conserved colonial cities and magnificent beaches.  Regular departures throughout the year.  


Tour available in English and Spanish.

Departure from Cancun every Tuesday and Sunday. Minimum 06 Pax.



 

Day1-Airport-Cancun     Arrival to Cancun airport and transfer to the hotel zone. Lodging.

Day 2 Cancun - Chichén Itza- Merida  Breakfast. Departure to Chichén Itza in ground transportation with a guide. After visiting Chichén Itza the journey will continue to Mérida, capital of the state of Yucatán. Lodging.

Day 3 Mérida- Uxmal- Campeche Breakfast. After leaving Merida visit of Uxmal. Arrival to Campeche at mid afternoon. Lodging.

 Day 4 Campeche-Palenque Breakfast. Departure from Campeche to Palenque. Visit of the archeological site. Lodging.

 Day 5 Palenque-Agua Azul-San Cristóbal de Las Casas Breakfast. Departure to the high lands of Chiapas. A short stop on the way to get bath  in the turquoise water of Agua Azul. Continue to San Cristobal de Las Casas. Lodging.

 Day 6 San Cristóbal-San Juan Chamula-Zinacantán-Cañon del sumidero-San Cristobal Breakfast. In the morning visit to the indigenous poblation of San Juan Chamula and Zinacatan. In the afternoon visit to Cañon del Sumidero (public boat). Lodging.

 Day 7 San Cristóbal-Lake Atitlán Breakfast. The border between Mexico and Guatemala will be crossed at midday. Change of bus and guide. After this pause the trip continues toward Lake Atitlán. Lodging.

 Day 8 Lake Atitlán-Chichicastenango-Lake Atitlan Breakfast. Departure from Atitlan to visit the indigenous people at Chichicastenango where market days are Thursdays and Sundays. After the market return to Lake Atitlan. Lodging.

Day 9 Lake Atitlán-Santiago-La Antigua Breakfast. Boat trip (Public boat) to the Tzutuhil village of Santiago. Bright colors and ancient designs can be seen on the indigenous typical clothing proudly worn by these highland inhabitants. Return to Panajachel to continue the trip to Antigua. Lodging.

 Day 10 Antigua Breakfast. Free day to do an optional tour to visit La Antigua. Lodging.

Day 11 Antigua-Quirigua-Izabal Area Breakfast. Departure from Antigua toward the Guatemalan Caribbean. On the road visit of the archaeological site of Quiriguá where some of the best Mundo Maya stelas are found. After the visit, continue to Puerto Barrios, where a boat (Public boat) is taken to Izabal Area an Afro – Caribbean village. Lodging.

Day 12 Izabal Area-Río Dulce-Peten Area Breakfast. Early in the morning a boat trip (Public boat) is made through Río Dulce an exceptional ecological paradise. At end of the river a bus will be waiting to continue to Peten Area. Lodging.

 Day 13 Peten Area-Tikal-Belize Breakfast. Visit of Tikal, undoubtedly the best example of classical Mayan culture. At one time, up to 100.000 people lived in Tikal. Presently, its buildings are hiding in the jungle and it is necessary to walk through dense vegetation in order to visit the central plaza, the Great Jaguar temple, the lost World or Temple IV. After the visit, departure from Guatemala through its northern border, toward Belize City. Lodging.

 Day 14 Belize-Tulum-Cancun Breakfast. Departure from Belize toward Tulum, an archaeological site bathed by Caribbean waves and breezes. Free afternoon to enjoy the beaches. At sunset continue to Cancun. Lodging.

 Day 15 Cancun-Airport Transfer to the airport.
